Privacy Policy
UnitPulse collects the information needed to create and protect an account, connect people with their hospitals and units, and provide learning features. This can include a name, email address, workplace affiliations, account activity, pulse responses, personal learning history, feedback, and resources uploaded by authorized leaders.
How information is used
We use this information to authenticate users, administer memberships and privileges, deliver pulses and learning resources, calculate results, send essential account messages, protect the service, and improve UnitPulse.
Performance privacy
A user can view their own individual performance. Authorized leaders may view named unit rosters, but UnitPulse is designed to present team performance as anonymous, aggregate learning patterns rather than named staff rankings.
Service providers and AI assessments
UnitPulse uses carefully selected service providers, including Amazon Web Services, to operate authentication, email, hosting, storage, and application infrastructure. When an AI assessment is requested, relevant question and learning evidence may be processed by an AI service without including the user's name or email address.
Clinical and patient information
UnitPulse is not intended for patient records or clinical documentation. Users must not enter protected health information or information that could identify a patient in feedback, uploads, questions, or other content.
Choices and questions
Users may update supported profile information in UnitPulse. For privacy questions or requests concerning account information, contact us using the address below.
02
Terms of Use
UnitPulse is a team learning and educational service. It does not provide medical advice, replace clinical judgment, establish a standard of care, or replace the policies, training, and escalation procedures of a user's employer.
Responsible use
Users must provide accurate account information, protect their sign-in credentials, use only privileges they have been granted, and avoid unlawful, abusive, misleading, or disruptive activity. Access codes and administrative invitations may not be shared outside their intended hospital or unit.
Uploaded and submitted content
A user must have permission to upload or submit educational materials and remains responsible for that content. Content must not contain patient-identifying information, confidential employer material shared without authorization, or material that infringes another person's rights.
Availability and account access
UnitPulse is currently in private beta. Features may change as the service is tested and improved. We may restrict or suspend access when necessary to protect users, comply with law, address misuse, or maintain the security and reliability of the service.
Acceptance
By creating or using a UnitPulse account, a user agrees to these terms and any future updates presented through the service. If a user does not agree, they should not use UnitPulse.
